Your Himalayan adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chame, where the trekking adventure starts. The trail follows the beautiful Marsyangdi Valley, passing through charming mountain villages, pine and rhododendron forests, waterfalls, suspension bridges, and picturesque landscapes. Along the way, you'll experience the unique cultures and traditions of the Gurung, Manangi, Thakali, and Tibetan-influenced communities. After visiting Tilicho Lake, the trek rejoins the main Annapurna Circuit route and continues through Yak Kharka and Thorong Phedi before crossing the famous Thorong La Pass (5,416 m). From the top of the pass, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges before descending to the sacred pilgrimage town of Muktinath, an important spiritual sites for both Hindus and Buddhists.

A warm welcome to mountainous country, Nepal. Our representatives will be standby to greet you upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport and assist you to transfer to your hotel. After some time to relax and refresh at your hotel, we will meet again in the evening for a welcome dinner, where you will enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine. 

Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

    Our trekking leaders will meet you in the hotel and check your trekking equipment and their conditions and suggest you buy or rent the necessary kits from the trekking shops in Thamel. We require National Park Entry permit and other restricted area permit to be allowed entering in these regions. After taking permit, we can spend our time visiting various UNESCO world heritage sites including Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Bouddhanath.

      After early morning breakfast, we take a long scenic drive to Chame. Following the Trisuli river and alongside the Marshyangdi river, the route winds through lush green forests, terraced fields and isolated villages accompanied by panoramic views of Annapurna mountain ranges. About 9 hours of drive takes you to the headquarters of Manang district, Chame. Unpon arriving in Chame, explore the Tibetan culture along with the breathtaking view of towering Lamjung Himal.

      Overnight stay in Chame. 

         The trekking part of the trail starts from today. After as warm delicious breakfast, the trail moves through the pine forest, terraced fields, crossing suspension bridges over Marsyandi River, we get to Dhukur Pokhari. After having lunch break over here, we proceed our journey towards lower pisang and then we ascend steadily up the mountainside before reaching Upper Pisang. This traditional village in Manang region offers the magnificent panoramic views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.

        Overnight stay at Pisang.

          We continue our journey toward Ngawal after early morning breakfast. As we move forward, we can see a beautiful green lake, MringTso, in the middle of the hills. Passing across Mani walls, suspension bridges, zigzag route with steeply uphill, we reach Ghyaru, which takes about 3 hours. Explore the typical village of Manang area   covered by traditional homes made of stones. We take lunch and take short rest over here. Another 3 hours of steep ascents and descents, we get to Ngawal, a beautiful village with rich Gurung and Manangi culture and tradition.

          Overnight stay in Nwagal.

            Today's trek follows a scenic trail through the upper Marsyangdi Valley, offering magnificent views of Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and the surrounding snow-capped mountains. The route passes through the traditional villages of Mungji and Braga, where you can visit the famous Braga Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the Annapurna region. From Braga, a short walk brings you to Manang, a vibrant Himalayan village where you'll rest and prepare for the higher altitudes ahead.

              To prepare for higher elevations, spend the day acclimatizing. Optional hikes include Gangapurna Lake, Ice Lake, or nearby viewpoints offering spectacular mountain views. The remainder of the day can be spent exploring monasteries, local museums, bakeries, and traditional Manangi culture.

              Overnight stay in Manang

                After breakfast, leave the main Annapurna Circuit trail and follow the route toward the spectacular Tilicho Lake. The trail gradually ascends through alpine meadows and sparse vegetation, offering magnificent views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Tilicho Peak, and the surrounding Himalayan landscape. Passing through Khangsar Village, one of the last permanent settlements before Tilicho Lake, the trail continues across rocky slopes and glacial terrain before reaching Shri Kharka. This peaceful settlement serves as an important overnight stop for trekkers heading toward Tilicho Lake.

                  Today's trail traverses steep mountain slopes beneath towering cliffs as you make your way toward Tilicho Base Camp. Although the route is relatively short, it requires careful footing while crossing sections prone to landslides and loose rocks. Throughout the journey, enjoy spectacular views of Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri, and the rugged alpine landscape. Upon reaching Tilicho Base Camp, relax and prepare for the following day's early morning excursion to the lake.

                    Start early in the morning for the rewarding hike to the breathtaking Tilicho Lake, one of the world's highest alpine lakes. The gradual climb leads through rugged mountain terrain before revealing the stunning turquoise waters of the lake, surrounded by towering cliffs, glaciers, and snow-covered peaks. Spend time enjoying the incredible scenery, taking photographs, and appreciating the peaceful atmosphere before retracing your steps to Tilicho Base Camp. After a short rest, continue descending to Shri Kharka for the night.

                      Leaving Shri Kharka, retrace the trail toward Khangsar before rejoining the main Annapurna Circuit route near Manang. The trail then gradually ascends across alpine meadows and open yak grazing pastures toward Yak Kharka. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of Gangapurna, Chulu Peaks, and the surrounding Himalayan landscape. The peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air make today's trek both enjoyable and important for acclimatization before crossing Thorong La Pass.

                      Overnight stay in Yak Kharka

                        Today's trek is relatively short but steadily gains altitude. The trail crosses alpine pastures and suspension bridges before climbing gradually along rocky mountain slopes to Thorong Phedi, the final settlement before Thorong La Pass. As you gain elevation, the vegetation becomes sparse and the surrounding landscape transforms into a dramatic high-altitude environment. Spend the afternoon resting, staying hydrated, and preparing for the challenging pass crossing the following day.

                          To avoid the windy atmosphere, we continue our trek early morning before the sunrise. Taking about 4 hours after the challenging trail with steep ascent and descent, we get to Thorong-la pass. This is the world's highest pass and mostly used pass bringing the incredible views of Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu. We, then, descend gradually towards Muktinath and the elevation decline sharply. About 7-8 hours of  gradual walk today on the amazing landscape takes you to Muktinath.

                            After breakfast, visit the sacred Muktinath Temple, where you can explore the temple complex, receive blessings, and visit the famous 108 holy water spouts. Afterwards, drive through the scenic Kali Gandaki Valley via Jomsom to the beautiful village of Marpha, renowned for its traditional stone houses, apple orchards, and rich Thakali culture. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming village, visiting the Marpha Monastery, strolling through its narrow alleys, and tasting locally produced apple products.

                              After breakfast, begin a scenic drive from Marpha through the beautiful Kali Gandaki Valley, passing Jomsom, Tatopani, and Beni. Along the way, enjoy views of dramatic river gorges, waterfalls, terraced hillsides, traditional villages, and the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Upon arriving in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the vibrant Lakeside area.

                                After breakfast, return to Kathmandu by a scenic drive through along the Prithvi Highway or by an optional short domestic flight with additional cost. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day shopping, exploring Kathmandu's cultural attractions, or simply relaxing after your memorable Himalayan adventure.
