About Chulu East (6584)

Chulu East (6584m) Peak climbing trip is highly recommended for those climbers who are looking for some adventurous climbing experiences in Himalaya. Along with this trip would be much more meaningful for training experiences. The height and the geographic condition are also better for beginner climbers. Since the last decade, this peak is highly rated mountain in Nepal.

The chulu East Mountain is situated in Manang District, heart of Annapurna Region. The trekking up to Base Camp offers you to explore beautiful culture of Himalayan people. From the summit of Chulu East the beautiful vistas of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Manaslu(8163m), Mt. Annapurna(8091m) and snowy capped mountains of Annapurna Trekking Trails. Along with varied ecosystems, diverse cultures and an ever-changing landscape - lush, green paddy fields and Oak forests, arid deserts, the deepest gorge makes you happy. And the fascinating mountains are the remarkable part to explore of the trip.

Basically spring and autumn are considered to be the best climbing season. However other months are also suitable, depends on weather condition. As a climber, you need to have some previous trekking experiences and climbing training.  We as a professional climbing trip operator based in Nepal always provides you highly professional climbing guide and other staffs.

  • Day 01: Day 01: Welcome at TIA and transfer to the hotel.
  • Day 02: Day 02: Briefing about trip with the presence of your climbing guide
  • Day 03: Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (823m.)
  • Day 04: Day 04: Trek from Beshi shahar to Bahundanda (1305m)
  • Day 05: Day 05: Trek from Bahundanda to Chyamche (1430m.)
  • Day 06: Day 06: Trek from Chyamche (1410m.) to Dharapani (1860m.)
  • Day 07: Day 06: Trek from Chyamche (1410m.) to Dharapani (1860m.)
  • Day 08: Day 08: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.),
  • Day 09: Day 09: Trek from Pisang to Ngawal (3305m.),
  • Day 10: Day 10: Rest day at Ngawal for acclimatization
  • Day 11: Day 11: Trek from Ngawal, to Chulu Base Camp (3910m.),
  • Day 12: Day 12: Trek from Base Camp to High Camp (4955m.),
  • Day 13: Day 13: We do acclimatize here if we feel uncomfortable.
  • Day 14: Day 14: Today, we ascent the summit ascent and return to the Base Camp.
  • Day 15: Day 15: From the Base camp, it is our opportunity to trek to Manang (3351m.)
  • Day 16: Day 16: Having food at Manang, we trek to Chu Ri Lather (4000m)
  • Day 17: Day 17: From Chu Ri Lather, we trek to Thorong Phedi (4510m).
  • Day 18: Day 18: Trek from Trong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m)
  • Day 19: Day 19: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom via Kagbeni(2895m.)
  • Day 20: Day 20: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, which takes about 20 minutes
  • Day 21: Day 21: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus
  • Day 22: Day 22: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley

Day 01: Welcome at TIA and transfer to the hotel.

    Day 02: Briefing about trip with the presence of your climbing guide

      Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (823m.), 5-6 hr drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar

        Day 04: Trek from Beshi shahar to Bahundanda (1305m), 4-5 hr trek overnight at local teahouse

          Day 05: Trek from Bahundanda to Chyamche (1430m.) which takes about six hours.

            Day 06: Trek from Chyamche (1410m.) to Dharapani (1860m.) and it takes about six hours.

              Day 06: Trek from Chyamche (1410m.) to Dharapani (1860m.) and it takes about six hours.

                Day 08: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.), which takes about five hours. With Lamjung Himal (6893m) sparkling in the morning sun, you set off for Pisang.

                  Day 09: Trek from Pisang to Ngawal (3305m.), this takes about five hours.

                    Day 10: Rest day at Ngawal for acclimatization. It is wise to explore around local site to adapt the local environment

                      Day 11: Trek from Ngawal, to Chulu Base Camp (3910m.), which takes about six hours.

                        Day 12: Trek from Base Camp to High Camp (4955m.), we do prepare ourselves for the peak climbing, which takes about six hours camping in the tent

                          Day 13: We do acclimatize here if we feel uncomfortable. If we feel well, we go for attempting the summit.

                            Day 14: Today, we ascent the summit ascent and return to the Base Camp.

                              Day 15: From the Base camp, it is our opportunity to trek to Manang (3351m.)

                                Day 16: Having food at Manang, we trek to Chu Ri Lather (4000m)  

                                  Day 17: From Chu Ri Lather, we trek to Thorong Phedi (4510m).

                                    Day 18: Trek from Trong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorong-La pass (5,416m), which takes about seven hours

                                      Day 19: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom via Kagbeni(2895m.) which takes about five hours.

                                        Day 20: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, which takes about 20 minutes

                                          Day 21: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus that takes about seven hours. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes .Overnight at Hotel

                                            Day 22: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath) and Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.
