                                🌧️ 10. Weather & Trail Conditions

Weather can change quickly in the Langtang hills. Rain, fog, strong winds, cold temperatures, and occasional snowfall may affect trekking conditions.

During the monsoon season, trails can become wet, slippery, muddy, and affected by leeches or landslides. The itinerary may be adjusted when necessary for safety.

                                🏡 11. Accommodation & Meals

One of the highlights of the Tamang Heritage Trek is its community-based accommodation and homestay experience. Villages such as Gatlang, Thuman, and Briddim provide opportunities to experience traditional Tamang hospitality and local culture.

Accommodation generally consists of local lodges, guesthouses, and homestays.

Meals commonly include Dal Bhat, noodles, soups, Tibetan-style dishes, vegetables, and other simple local or international meals.

                                🛡️ 12. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should cover:

                                • Trekking activities
                                • Emergency medical treatment
                                • Helicopter evacuation
                                • Mountain rescue
                                • Trip cancellation/interruption
                                • Lost or delayed baggage

Ensure your policy covers trekking in Nepal and emergency evacuation where required.

                                🚁 13. Safety & Emergency Support

Safety is our priority. Our experienced trekking guides monitor weather, trail conditions, altitude, and the health of participants throughout the journey.

The itinerary may be adjusted whenever necessary. In an emergency, appropriate medical, rescue, or evacuation arrangements will be made according to the situation.

                                📱 14. Communication & Electricity

Mobile networks and internet services are available in some villages but may become limited or unreliable in more remote sections.

Electricity is generally available at many lodges and homestays, although charging may involve an additional fee.

We recommend carrying a power bank, spare batteries, and essential electronic devices. A Nepal SIM card can provide mobile data where network coverage is available.
