If a climber climbs Lobuche during Everest, it helps for better acclimatization for Khumbu Ice Fall climbing. The summit of Lobuche is similar to Everest Camp1. There is two summits, Lobuche East and Lobuche West. Lobuche East was first ascent by Laurence Nielson and Sherpa Ang Gyalzen on April 25, 1984.
