Rugby Career
Alongside his professional career in information technology, Birat has an accomplished background in Nepali rugby. He began his rugby journey in 2013 and became a national player of Nepal's first National Rugby Team in 2014.
Over the course of his sporting career, he has represented Nepal in major international competitions and served as Captain of Nepal's Rugby Squad at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, 2023. He has also participated in major Asia Rugby competitions held in India, Singapore, Qatar, Bangladesh and other international venues.
His contribution to rugby extends beyond his role as a player. He has served as a national player, captain, coach, and match official, including coaching Gandaki Province and Nepal's APF (Armed Police Force) and serving as an Assistant Referee at an Asia Rugby U18 Championship.
