Earlier journey and his background
Roshan Bhattarai has been a highly accomplished and energetic mountaineer, trekking guide, and climbing guide with extensive experience in Himalayan trekking and mountaineering. With a deep passion for the mountains and years of practical experience leading expeditions, he brings professionalism, technical expertise, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to safety to every adventure.
On May 25, 2008, Roshan successfully summited Mount Everest (8,848.86 m) from the Nepal side via the South Col route, marking a significant achievement in his mountaineering career. He is recognized as the first mountaineer from the Brahmin community of Nepal to summit Mount Everest from the Nepal side. This historic accomplishment reflects his determination, courage, endurance, and lifelong dedication to high-altitude mountaineering.
As a confirmed Everest Summiteer since 2008, Roshan has continued to pursue challenging Himalayan adventures. His impressive climbing record includes successful ascents of Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and numerous other trekking peaks throughout the Himalayas.

Roshan has years of proven experience leading trekking, climbing, and mountaineering expeditions in Nepal and abroad. Over the course of his career, he has successfully led more than 500 trekking and climbing trips, gaining extensive knowledge of Himalayan terrain, high-altitude environments, expedition logistics, route management, and client care.
His practical experience across diverse mountain regions enables him to confidently guide adventurers ranging from first-time trekkers to experienced climbers undertaking technically demanding Himalayan peaks.
